In this episode we give you an update on what we’re knitting and talk a little bit about yarn shopping in Toronto, discuss some of the things we’d liked to have seen at Sock Summit if we’d been able to go (sob) as well as some fannish anxieties and awesome costumes, as well as giving you still more geeky patterns to drool over and add to your Ravelry queue. You’re welcome.
Check out our new Ravelry group! Tell us about what you’re geeking out about, what you’re working on, and share any geeky stuff you find!
Discussed in this episode:
Dharma Trading has all kinds of neat tools as well as tons of stuff to dye; Karen finds this little scale useful for splitting skeins of yarn.
Ghost Story by Jim Butcher, breaking Maggie’s brain since last Tuesday.
Sock Summit hosted a flash mob and a lot of really interesting classes (sorry, we goofed about that Guinness World Record–that was set at Sock Summit 2009!)
Molly Quinn makes a geeky splash at SDCC’s Castle panel
Reinterpreting Disney Princess Costumes Through a Historical Lens
Find geeky designer Glenna C at her blog Knitting to Stay Sane or drool over her designs on Ravelry

Oh my goodness! You found us! I’m so glad you like the Ladies of Mischief. We are so super excited about the project. We ahve been working almost a year on it and I just can’t wait. We have some of the most amazing patterns and yarn dyers working on this (check the kickstarter update for details) not to mention we have an acutal airship to photograph on!
Heee, we’re super excited about it too and I can’t wait to see the final product.
Also, doing photographs on an actual airship? OMG THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME.
